Congratulations Andrew Kurka on being High Fives athlete of the week!
Things in Alaska and for the team are going fantastic! We just finished up our team camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. We did team building, rock climbing, basketball and worked on our exercise schedule for the off season. I am still in the running and excited to be competing this summer as a cyclist in the longest toughest hand cycle race in the world. Here in Alaska towards the end of July. With the first qualifier coming up here on the 20th! Our next races and on snow training camps are scheduled towards the beginning of August in NewZealand!
Summer is keeping me busy with classic Alaskan adventures cycling fishing and trying new things! Had the honor of giving the keynote speech for one of the largest graduating high school classes of Alaska! Video to come!
Excited to be meeting up with some more of my supporters with NetCracker coming up to Alaska! For a meeting with GCI! cant wait to meet more of the team of my largest supporters!
