On March 12, 2023 Brad was out riding his dirtbike along a trail on sandstone next to a slot canyon. As he navigated the terrain, he unexpectedly slid off the slick rock and fell about 25 feet into the canyon. Brad spent the night there before search and rescue found him the following day.
