Brooke Nelson
Brooke was injured while mountain biking with her family at a bike park in Boise, Idaho. She decided to scout out a trail for her kids & came upon what she thought was a typical roller, but unfortunately, it turned out to be an unmarked gap jump. Brooke didn’t have the speed to clear the jump, nor time to react and was on the ground, instantly realizing that she had broken her back.
The fall resulted in a severe fracture at T6 and she is currently paralyzed from the chest down.
“Things can get hard, but never forget the big picture.”
