Clinton was riding his mountain bike on a local trail and flipped over the handlebars when he lost control. He hit the ground headfirst and the impact caused a brain contusion that paralyzed him from the chest down, doctors told him he sustained a C6-7 incomplete tetraplegic spinal cord injury.

When asked what High Fives means to Clinton he responded – “having this bike will give me the freedom to leave the house and get active. It will make me feel like doing what I love without the fear of getting injured again. I will be able to join in with others, to meet new people, and enjoy the sport of mountain biking once again.”
