Danielle Shannon
On February 27, 2015 Danielle crashed into a rock while skiing at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, AK. Ski patrol responded within 10 minutes and they were quick to rush Danielle to Providence Hospital. There, she underwent immediate brain surgery to relieve pressure and remove the blood clot. During the procedure Danielle lost about half of her blood volume, and underwent multiple facial reconstructive surgeries. The doctors originally said that Danielle wouldn’t make it, but she has defied the odds and is making a TREMENDOUS recovery.
