A former professional mogul skier and skier for Rap Films, DJ’s true passion is Alpine Skiing. He has pioneered and soloed many routes throughout the Sierra. In 2010, Darren found himself buried under the snow for seven minutes after an early season avalanche on Red Lake Peak. After his recuperation from the initial effects of a Traumatic Brain Injury, facial paralysis, multiple facial and other fractures, Darren has returned to backcountry skiing and spending time on the slopes with his daughters.
