David suffered a burst fracture of his T-12 vertebrae at Sunshine Ski Resort on January 4th, 2019. He was skiing inbounds, wiped out, subsequently, falling out of bounds. While attempting to return inbounds, a level 2 avalanche occurred sweeping David over a 100 foot cliff. This fall resulted in David becoming a complete paraplegic from my waist down. Upon discharge in May, he was classified as a T-7 Asia A.
