Derek Meng Ho
Derek was injured while backcountry skiing when he collided with a tree and fractured his neck at the C4/C5 level. The injury resulted in an incomplete spinal cord injury, significantly impacting his mobility and independence. More than three years after his injury, he continues working toward regaining the strength and function needed to get out of bed and transfer independently.
