Hunter Jaynes
On May 2, 2021, Hunter was riding a motorcycle with friends when the group stopped to take photos of the sunset before heading home. Upon returning to the road, a truck approached from the opposite direction. With another rider alongside, there was little room to maneuver safely. Both drivers attempted to avoid the collision, but the truck struck Hunter, resulting in the traumatic amputation of his right arm above the elbow and right leg above the knee. The impact threw Hunter several meters, causing severe blood loss and hemorrhagic shock. Thanks to the quick actions of a fellow rider and the rapid response of emergency personnel, Hunter survived the accident.
