Jacob Lavigne
Jacob suffered an incomplete spinal cord Injury in a 2008 mountain biking accident, when he was just 12 years old. He was descending the mountain, his brakes failed and he caught his front tire on a rock, causing him to land on his face and chest.
He currently has limited ab movement and I cannot move his legs from his mountain bike crash. Jacob’s recovery goal is to remain an active person. He competes in sled hockey, handcycles, and plays wheelchair basketball. One of his life goals is to play in the A-league in sled hockey and eventually make the USA Sled Hockey Development Team.
“If you’re going to do it, do it right.”
