Jan Folga
Jan was injured in 2020 during a high-speed off-road motorcycle accident in Canada while conducting an engine test for a GNCC race in the United States. The crash caused severe spinal trauma, including fractured vertebrae and a complete spinal cord injury at the L1 level, resulting in permanent paraplegia. Overnight, he went from competing as an elite motorsport athlete to learning how to navigate life in a wheelchair while adaptive to the physical and mental challenges of his injury.
