Jay Rawe was involved in a 2014 BASE jumping accident when a jump went wrong off the Perrine Bridge in Idaho. Jay became tangled in his chute, and upon hitting the ground from 486 feet, he was very lucky to only suffer an L1 burst fracture, causing temporary paralysis at L5.
