In May 2016, Jenny was at a climbing gym in Lexington, KY. She was trying to get an endurance workout and was using the auto-belays at the gym. She had recently returned from a trip in Spain for climbing and remembered thinking of routes she was determined to climb. That night she made a mistake, the auto-belay didn’t engage, and she fell from 60 feet.

Jenny’s recovery goals are listed as follows: Being able to get down on the floor alone/get up from sitting on the floor without a need for help, being able to walk faster than 1/2 mile an hour, being able to pick something up that is lower than hip height, and being able to walk without medical devices, drive in a car on the highway.
