John Goettge

In November 1998, John fell 23 feet onto a rail across his abdomen, causing a T-12 burst fracture. The fall ended up causing paralysis from the waist down. He was a Junior at Purdue University at the time of his injury, and after inpatient rehab in Pittsburgh, Pa, John returned to Purdue and graduated with a degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision.
