Jon Plaszcz
Jon was injured in a moped accident at age 22 while riding int he rain and losing control. The crash resulted in a C4 spinal cord injury, leaving him with quadriplegia and permanent paralysis. Since the accident, he has used a manual wheelchair for mobility and has worked to adapt to daily life while continuing to pursue greater independence.

GC2 2026 Grant funding for power wheelchair attachment
“This grant will give me greater independence and access to the outdoors by allowing me to travel farther and navigate terrain that is difficult to access in my wheelchair. The PAWS will help me stay active, enjoy activites like hiking, fishing, and hunting, and most importantly, allow me to participate in outdoor adventures and create lasting memories with my children.“
