Jordan Lenkin
In September of 2018, Jordan was climbing at a gym in the Denver area. Before her first route, she asked her partner if he’d be ok catching a lead fall. He said yes. When she reached the top of the route, she let go. Rather than stopping after about five feet, as expected, she fell 30 to the ground. The impact resulted in a burst fracture to L1 and subsequent paralysis.
