Joshua Ourada
Josh was injured in a rock climbing accident while free soloing a route in Yosemite Valley. He slipped midway through the climb and fell approximately 150 feet before landing on a ledge. The fall caused multiple traumatic injuries, including a burst fracture of his L1 vertebra leading to an incomplete T12 spinal cord injury, as well as fractures and internal injuries. Josh now lives with partial paralysis, primarily using a wheelchair while continuing to walk short distances with forearm crutches.
