Justin sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI) at C3-C6 after diving into a pool and hitting his head. Following months of intensive therapy, he returned to work but was later involved in a serious motor vehicle accident, resulting in a second SCI at C5-C6. Despite undergoing rehabillitation again, he was unable to regain the baseline function he had achieved after his first injury.
