Nicholas McCoy
While serving in the U.S. Army with the 1-501st Geronimo PIR, Nicholas was leading his unit when they encountered an IED hidden in a trash pile, which detonated. He suffered severe internal injuries from shrapnel and lost both legs below the knee.
