The Wednesday before Christmas Nick was skiing at Seven Springs Resort in Champion, PA with friends. They were only on their second or third run of the day when they headed up the chair lift to make another run down the mountain. According to Nick’s friends, he passed out and fell off the front of the chair lift without warning. Nick had no prior feelings to passing out, was not doing anything in order to pass out, never had a history of passing out, it just happened – a freak accident. His friends saw him fall anywhere from 8-15 feet. The fall resulted in paralysis from the chest down.
