Quinn Brett took a 120 foot fall off the Boot Flake on El Capitan in Yosemite; a fall that could have easily been fatal. She cratered into Texas Flake and eventually landed in the space between El Cap and Texas Flake. Her rope never tightened. The impact shattered Quinn’s right scapula, broke 4 ribs, fractured to her L4 vertebrae and burst fractured her T12 vertebrae causing paralysis from the waste down.
