Ryan Neslund
On April 23, 2011 in his home state of Minnesota, Ryan Neslund sustained a T6 complete spinal cord injury while training on his motocross bike. Fourteen days later, he was taken to Chicago, and received Stem Cells in a Geron study. He did his inpatient rehab at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago for three months. After that Ryan moved to Arizona to be near his uncle. In April of 2013 Ryan moved to Basalt, Colorado to pursue his dreams of being a mountain man. He hopes to become a great sit skier with assistance from the High Fives Foundation.
