While riding his motorcycle home with a friend who was driving a car, Tyler’s friend misjudged a pass and clipped the front wheel of his motorcycle, causing a severe crash into an RV parked near the road. The accident resulted in a broken neck, crushed ribs, a fractured arm, and multiple critical injuries that led to a spinal cord injury. Despite the life-altering impact, he has remained dedicated to rebuilding his life with purpose and is now focused on continuing his education, recovery, and service to his community.
