Tyler Vaughn
While skiing backcountry access chutes on the Mary Jane side of Winter Parks for the first time, Tyler, was navigating a familiar run with friends. After looking to check on a friend who had fallen, they hit an ice patch, lost controle, slid down the chute, and went off a 70-foot cliff. The impact left Tyler with severe injuries, and he has limited memory of the event, recalling only brief moments in the hospital in Denver.
