In 2013, snowboarder Scott Will was cutoff by another person at Vail. To avoid the other snowboarder Scott changed directions and ended up heading right toward a sign post. Scott took most of the impact with his side, and when he arrived at the hospital, he discovered that he had done extensive nerve damage to his arm.
