William Whitten
William was injured in a vehicle accident while driving home from a friend’s camp in Arkansas during rainy conditions. After briefly looking down at his GPS, he missed a curve, struck a culvert, and rolled his vehicle multiple times. The crash caused a severe neck injury, with fractured vertebrae compressing his spinal cord. He was later transported to a trauma center, where he began his ongoing recovery journey.

GC1 2026 funding for adaptive workout equipment
“This grant will support my recovery by providing access to consistent at-home training, helping me build strength despite limited rehabilitation resources. Having reliable equipment will allow me to maintain a routine and continue progressing even when I cannot attend therapy or the gym“
