The High Fives Foundation launched the Pedal For Positivity initiative in 2023 to provide free therapy sessions to eligible individuals in the Reno-Tahoe-Truckee community, aiming to make mental health support more accessible. This program was inspired by Harrison Biehl, founder of Pedal for Positivity, who raised over $26,000 by completing a grueling 29-hour ride in honor of his friend Joe, to support mental health. The grant cycle is now open for mental health resources, and you can review eligibility and apply here. The initiative underscores the foundation’s commitment to promoting mental well-being and positivity.
