Known for his big air, speed, and style on the slopes, Roy Tuscany was on the path to realizing his dream until a life-altering injury in 2006 paralyzed him from the waist down. Inspired by the support he received during his own recovery, Roy transformed his experience into a positive force by creating the High Fives Non Profit Foundation. Roy now helps other disabled athletes return to the winter sports they love. His remarkable journey earned him the “spirit inspires” award from Disabled Sports USA in 2011, and he held the World Record for the most high fives in a 24-hour period.
