Meet Jesse Murphy, a passionate and versatile member of the High Fives team! With a love for skiing, moto, mountain biking, fishing, and the beach, Jesse’s adventurous spirit knows no bounds. Hailing from Warren, VT, he grew up surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, which has fueled his lifelong passion for outdoor activities.

While Jesse has achieved various accolades and certifications, including the HFF Community Award and a Level 11 Certification ESGE, his proudest accomplishment is being a loving and supportive father to his two daughters, Rubi and Mae, alongside his awesome wife Heidi.

Dedicated to making a positive impact, Jesse engages in volunteer work, providing community-based help during Vermont flood relief efforts and contributing to adaptive sports initiatives.

His lifelong love for the mountains and beach reflects his deep appreciation for nature’s wonders, a connection that has shaped his life’s pursuits.

Jesse’s job history is as diverse as his interests, having held roles as a coach, pro athlete, and contributor in sales, marketing, promotions, and development within the ski industry. Additionally, he has been involved in carpentry, painting, landscaping, and serves as the Development Director for HFF, showcasing his dedication to the organization’s mission.

His passion for family and friends, the outdoor sports community, and important causes like human rights and women’s rights define his character and make him an invaluable member of the High Fives ohana.

Currently residing in Fayston, VT, Jesse Murphy’s enthusiasm and dedication to the outdoors and helping others make him a cherished and respected member of the High Fives team.

Meet Amy, a dynamic and compassionate member of the High Fives team! She has a diverse range of preferred sports, including running, swimming, biking, basketball, and volleyball, showcasing her love for staying active and challenging herself.

Amy’s educational accomplishments include a BS Degree in Economics, an AS Degree in Accounting, and an AS Degree in Business Management, highlighting her dedication to continuous learning and personal growth.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Amy finds fulfillment in volunteer work, chairing the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk and Wine Harvest Fundraisers, volunteering as a Football Mom for over a decade, and contributing as a Sky Tavern Parent Volunteer for the Ski Program. Her involvement in the Northern Nights Music Festival also reflects her passion for supporting events and initiatives.

With a beloved dog named Potato, Amy’s love for animals is evident, making her a cherished companion for her loyal furry friend.

In her free time, Amy enjoys working on various projects and embarking on trips with her kids, cherishing quality moments with her family.

Amy’s job history spans various roles, including accounting and business management for small businesses, real estate development, sales, and property management, showcasing her versatility and adaptability.

Amy’s passion for rooting for underdogs and her strong advocacy for addressing societal imbalances demonstrate her commitment to making a positive impact and supporting the welfare of others.

Currently residing in Nevada, Amy’s enthusiasm and dedication to her work and causes close to her heart make her an invaluable and cherished member of the High Fives ohana.

Meet Tim Burr, a charismatic and adventurous member of the High Fives team! Tim’s passion for the outdoors is evident in his chosen sports of fly fishing and DIRT. Hailing from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, he grew up surrounded by nature’s beauty, which sparked his love for the great outdoors.

Tim’s proudest accomplishment is the founding and operation of Return to Dirt, an independent organization dedicated to outdoor adventures, which eventually became an integral part of the High Fives Foundation. Through his hard work and dedication, he has made a lasting impact on the lives of others, promoting outdoor activities and fostering a sense of community.

Though his high school recognized his humorous side by voting him “Class Clown,” Tim’s accolades and awards go far beyond that. His commitment to volunteer work and giving back to the community is commendable.

In his free time, Tim indulges in his lifelong passion for facilitating fun for everyone around him. Whether in work or leisure, he strives to create a joyful and enjoyable environment for others.

His true passion lies in bringing joy and fun to those around him, making him an invaluable asset to the High Fives team. Tim’s dedication to facilitating memorable experiences aligns perfectly with the foundation’s mission to support and empower individuals through outdoor adventures.

Currently residing in Glenwood Springs, CO, Tim Burr’s infectious enthusiasm and love for the outdoors make him a cherished and respected member of the High Fives ohana.

Allow us to introduce Bryce, or affectionately known as B-Dollaz, a dynamic and compassionate member of the High Fives team! With a passion for running, snowboarding/splitboarding, and cross-country skiing, Bryce’s love for outdoor adventures knows no bounds. Growing up in Carmichael, Sacramento, his roots in the region have influenced his appreciation for nature and the great outdoors.

Bryce’s list of accomplishments is nothing short of impressive, including winning gold medals in homebrewing competitions, delivering an unforgettable speech as the best man at his best friend’s wedding, and completing a marathon – a testament to his determination and dedication.

His expertise in the world of beer is showcased through his certification as a Cicerone Certified Beer Server, and his running skills have earned him recognition, achieving 3rd place in the 2021 Truckee Half Marathon. More importantly, Bryce takes great pride in being certified as a nice person by his mom, a true testament to his kindness and compassion.

Throughout his life, Bryce has devoted time to volunteer work, including contributing to organizations such as Tahoe Food Hub and Access Leisure Sacramento during his college years.

A lifelong lover of food, Bryce’s passion for culinary delights began at a young age, and it has grown into a love for all foods (excluding meat). His appreciation for diverse flavors and cuisines is a reflection of his adventurous spirit.

With a diverse job history spanning IT student assistance, hospitality, recreation, hotels, and the beverage industry (with a focus on beer), Bryce has acquired a wealth of experiences that have shaped his well-rounded perspective. His journey led him to High Fives in 2021, where he has found a home to channel his passion for the outdoors and helping others.

Located in Truckee, Bryce’s unwavering commitment to sharing the value of outdoor experiences and promoting access for all aligns perfectly with the High Fives mission. His dedication and compassionate nature make him a cherished and respected member of the High Fives ohana.

Introducing Roy Alec Tuscany, a multi-talented and passionate member of the High Fives team! Roy’s love for adventure and sports knows no bounds, as he excels in surfing, biking, and skiing. Growing up in Waterbury, VT, he was surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor opportunities that shaped his active lifestyle.


Among his many accomplishments, Roy takes immense pride in his son Gunnar Owen Alexander Tuscany. As a dedicated father, he cherishes family time and engages in fun activities with his loved ones, including his wife Alana.


Roy’s sporting prowess has earned him recognition, including having his face featured on a Lay’s potato chip bag – an achievement that showcases his impact and popularity within the sports community. Additionally, his volunteer work as an auctioneer for NPOs reflects his commitment to giving back and supporting meaningful causes.


As a true Vermonter, Roy has a lifelong love for his home state, its iconic maple syrup, and mouthwatering breakfast sandwiches and cheeseburgers. Not to mention his affinity for Air Jordan sneakers, reflecting his sense of style and love for classic footwear.


Throughout his journey, Roy’s dedication to the High Fives Foundation has remained unwavering. His commitment to the foundation’s mission and the support it provides to athletes with life-altering injuries is truly commendable.


His deepest passions revolve around his family, the High Fives organization, and his cherished Air Jordan collection.


Currently residing in Reno, NV, Roy’s enthusiastic and wholehearted approach to life and work make him an invaluable and cherished member of the High Fives ohana.

Meet Anna Stump, a dynamic and adventurous member of the High Fives team! Hailing from just north of Atlanta, Georgia, Anna’s love for the outdoors and sports knows no bounds. She’s an avid dirt biker, mountain biker, skier, climber, swimmer, and runner – an impressive list of sports to master! Anna is an alumna of the University of Utah, where she honed her skills and passion for the outdoors.

One of her proudest accomplishments is recreating Van Gogh’s iconic “Starry Night” painting on an Etch A Sketch – a testament to her creativity and determination. Throughout her life, Anna has received recognition for her skills, holding accolades such as a Wilderness First Responder and EMT certification, as well as a P2 certificate for paragliding. She even once held her high school’s pole vaulting student record!

Beyond her love for adventure and sports, Anna is a lifelong lover of guacamole and mint chocolate chip ice cream, though she enjoys them separately. In her free time, she explores the art of stained glass making, finding fulfillment in the process, despite its occasional sharp edges.

Anna’s journey through the workforce has been nothing short of exciting. From her high school job at a climbing gym to working with big names like Red Bull, Project Airtime, Black Diamond, and Warren Miller Entertainment, she has a diverse and impressive job history.

Her passion for travel and cultural exploration is evident as she feels most alive on an airplane, in a tent, or surrounded by strangers. Currently residing in Truckee, California, Anna’s enthusiasm for life and her adventurous spirit make her an invaluable member of the High Fives ohana.

Meet Sano Shishido, an adventurous and fun-loving member of the High Fives team! With a passion for surfing, biking, skiing, snowboarding, and dirt biking, Sano’s active lifestyle is fueled by his love for the outdoors.

Having attended both Hawaii Community College and UNR, Sano’s pursuit of education reflects his desire for continuous learning and personal growth.

Originally from Tracy, CA, Sano’s upbringing in the vibrant city has shaped his love for exploration and adventure.

As a PADI Divemaster, Sano’s passion for the underwater world and scuba diving has earned him a valuable certification.

In his free time, Sano loves to travel and explore, always seeking new experiences and destinations to satisfy his adventurous spirit.

Lifelong lover of high fives, Sano’s enthusiasm for life and positive energy make him a joy to be around.

His job history includes diverse experiences, ranging from working in a sushi restaurant and construction to his time at a ski resort and serving as a divemaster, showcasing his versatility and passion for different fields.

Sushi stands as his favorite food, savoring the delightful flavors and creativity it offers.

Passionate about having fun, Sano embraces life with a joyful spirit, bringing positivity and laughter to those around him.

Currently residing in Reno, NV, Sano Shishido’s adventurous nature and commitment to his work and making the most of every moment make him a respected and cherished member of the High Fives ohana.

Let’s meet Daisy Vang, a vibrant and driven member of the High Fives team! With a passion for volleyball, she’s not only a sports enthusiast but also an accomplished individual. Hailing from Sacramento, CA, Daisy’s journey led her to become a 1st Gen College Graduate, earning her degree in Hospitality/Event Management from CSU Chico. Her career also aligns with her passion, as she works in Hospitality/Event Management, making her a valuable asset to the High Fives team.


While Daisy may not boast about accolades or certifications, her warmth and kindness shine through in her volunteering spirit. During college, she dedicated her time to various volunteer activities, showcasing her commitment to giving back to the community.


When not working, Daisy finds joy in crafting, planning for special occasions like Christmas and her birthday, and taking care of her adorable catto named Peanut. She is a lifelong lover of country music, with a special place in her heart for Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen. Daisy’s interests also extend to enjoying wine, creating charcuterie boards, and indulging in brunch and romantic comedy movies.


Her job history is as diverse as her interests, starting with a fun job at Hot Dog On A Stick and progressing through events, wedding planning, and retail during her college days. After graduation, Daisy worked as the Events Coordinator at Everline Resort & Spa before transitioning to the role of Executive Assistant for RE/MAX Gold in Reno, NV, where she ventured into the real estate industry. Later, she embraced her passion for events once again as the Events Coordinator for a dermaplaning (esthetic) company. Now, she has found her perfect fit with High Fives as the Events & Partners Coordinator, where her skills and passion come together.


Currently residing in Reno, NV, Daisy’s enthusiastic and dedicated approach to her work and life make her an invaluable and cherished member of the High Fives ohana.

Meet Ally, a talented and passionate member of the High Fives team! With a love for dancing, she has mastered the art of movement and expression through her chosen sport.

Ally pursued her higher education at Loyola Marymount University, which undoubtedly contributed to her knowledge and growth.

Originally from Sacramento, Ally’s upbringing in the vibrant city has shaped her into the remarkable person she is today.

Among her many accomplishments, Ally takes great pride in walking the Camino de Santiago, a challenging and transformative journey that showcases her determination and adventurous spirit.

Ally enjoys playing the guitar or embracing the beauty of the outdoors, making the most of her leisure moments.

Music has been a lifelong love for Ally, as she finds solace, joy, and inspiration in its melodies and rhythms.

Her job history includes working as a research assistant and editor, demonstrating her skills and dedication in academic and writing-related pursuits.

Writing is one of Ally’s foremost passions, allowing her to express herself and share her thoughts and experiences with the world.

Attending both UNR and TMCC for his education, Lewis has dedicated himself to learning and expanding his horizons.

Originally from Reno, NV, Lewis’s upbringing in the beautiful city has shaped his love for outdoor activities and appreciation for nature.

Among his many accomplishments, Lewis takes great pride in purchasing his first home, a significant milestone that reflects his hard work and dedication.

His artistic talents have earned him recognition, with 3 gold keys and two silver keys from the Scholastic Art Awards, showcasing his creativity and skill.

Dedicated to giving back to the community, Lewis has volunteered with Clean Up the Lake, contributing to the preservation and cleanliness of the environment.

With a loyal companion named Ollie, Lewis finds joy and companionship in his furry friend.

Having attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Landon’s pursuit of education has contributed to his knowledge and growth.

Originally from Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada, Landon’s upbringing in the scenic region has fostered his deep connection to the outdoors and mountain biking.

Among his many accomplishments, Landon takes immense pride in his journey from being a High Fives athlete to now serving as a High Fives employee. His full circle transition has allowed him to give back to newly injured athletes, just as High Fives supported him after his own injury in 2010.

With a journalism degree and accolades like being a two-time overall Dunbar mountain bike champion and winning a Crankworx dual slalom silver medal, Landon’s talents and dedication are evident.

Landon’s passion lies in inspiring others and supporting them on their journey to recovery. His dedication to rehabilitation and helping others shines through, making him an invaluable and cherished member of the High Fives team.

Currently residing in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, Landon McGauley’s resilience and commitment to his work and advocacy for adaptive sports make him a respected and cherished member of the High Fives ohana.

Meet Maddie, a dedicated and accomplished member of the High Fives team! With a passion for skiing, she has made her mark on the slopes. Originally from Vermont, Maddie’s upbringing in a winter wonderland instilled her love for skiing from a young age.

Among her achievements, receiving her Commercial Pilot’s License stands out as a significant accomplishment, showcasing her determination and dedication to her career aspirations.

Committed to giving back, Maddie has been actively involved with the High Fives Foundation, dedicating her time and efforts to support the organization since 2009. Beyond her professional life, she finds joy and companionship in her dogs, Roxy and Creek, who are undoubtedly an essential part of her life.

In her free time, Maddie enjoys activities like Sudoku, savoring the beauty of the outdoors, and engaging in various sports, a testament to her active and adventurous spirit.

While Maddie’s lifelong love remains unspecified, her job history tells a diverse tale. She has worked at Vermont North Ski Shop, served as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and even contributed her talents to Red Bull North America, showcasing her adaptability and wide-ranging skills.

Her pursuit of education led her to attend Boise State University and Pepperdine University for her undergraduate studies, followed by the University of Nevada Reno for her Masters degree, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.

Among her many accomplishments, Dani takes great pride in finding fulfillment and success in her life at a relatively young age. She cherishes her strong relationships with friends and family, as well as her fulfilling job, which brings her a sense of pride and contentment.

Attending Chico State for his higher education, Matt’s academic pursuits have contributed to his knowledge and personal growth.

Among his many accomplishments, Matt takes great pride in being a former collegiate cross country and track runner, showcasing his dedication and talent in the world of athletics. Plus his dedication to volunteering in the Chico State BE:WEL program reflects his commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Matt enjoys immersing himself in various forms of media, including listening to music, watching sports, and tuning in to podcasts. His love for the outdoors and road trips has been a constant in his life, making him an adventurous spirit who cherishes nature and exploration.

Having attended Western Washington University, Becca’s pursuit of education has undoubtedly contributed to her knowledge and growth.

Originally from the west coast, she spent time in various states like Colorado, Utah, and Washington, appreciating the diverse outdoor opportunities each region offered.

Among her many accomplishments, Becca takes great pride in her global travels while studying and playing, all while respecting the environment and locals.

With accolades in skiing and within the nonprofit world, including receiving an award at the North Tahoe Community Alliance’s Annual Dinner and being celebrated as a big mountain skier with the North Face Young Gun award, Becca’s talent and passion for the sport are evident.

Giving back to the community is close to Becca’s heart, as she has volunteered with the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe for adoption assistance and dog walks. She has also contributed as a big mountain ski coach at Palisades Tahoe, nurturing the passion for skiing in the youth.

Becca’s passions extend to drying flowers, staying organized, and always seeking opportunities for learning and personal growth.
