High Fives Foundation to provide Bond Camp with $2,194.00 to aid in his recovery from a life-altering injury.

Bond was backcountry skiing south of Breckenridge in an area called Crystal Lakes. While skiing one of his best lines of the season, Bond caught an edge causing him to spin and slam onto his back. The impact led to T2 and T3 fractures causing paralysis from the nipples down. The crash also led to a broken left scapula, three broken ribs, and a punctured left lung.

Bond is an amazing individual with such a positive outlook post injury. He has befriended High Fives Winter Empowerment Athletes Eric Zerrenner and Jim Harris.
Stay strong, Bond! You’re an inspiration.
Julia we are so saddened to learn of Bond’s accident. We wish for him a full recovery as quickly as possible. Julie you are beautiful as ever.
You may know that we suffered the same accident with a fall that Glenn had a year ago October. He broke the lst and 2nd vertebra but luckily he is not paralyzed and is busy making his recovery. He is 85 and that has slowed both of us down quite a bit, but we feel so lucky that he is able to walk and is now doing daily exercises at the gym.
The very best to you.
