Danielle suffered an injury in June of 2011 when she fell nearly 300 feet while rock climbing. The accident resulted in a broken femur, pelvis, spinal cord (L1 and T6 vertebra) as well as both of her ankles, leaving her a T6 level paraplegic. Since her accident, Danielle has moved forward with positivity through her pursuits in adaptive skiing. She now plans on skiing, traveling and competing with assistance from the High Fives Foundation.
