Following the 11:00am-12:00pm registration, the day’s events will kick off with lunch provided by Burger Me, and a “Break the Glass” competition sponsored by Northwestern Mutual where golfers will attempt to shatter a pane of glass by hitting golf balls at it from a challenging distance.

At 1:00pm, teams of four will move to the fairways and work together in a scramble format. Players will have the chance to participate in many on-course challenges to win additional prizing. Afterwards there will be a putting contest, awards, and dinner catered Full Belly Deli.

The day’s festivities will cost $600 per team of 4, and all proceeds will go to the High Fives Foundation to help in the recovery process of mountain action sports athletes with life-altering injuries. If you would like to register a team please visit the tournament website at www.tahoegolf.highfivesfoundation.org

“As the superintendent of Gray’s Crossing, it means the world to me to prepare the course to raise runds for the organization that was there for me after my spinal cord injury in 2011,” said Phil Hoban, Head Superintendent of the Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing. Hoban suffered a life-altering injury and received a board-approved grant from the High Fives Foundation towards his recovery.
