The High Fives Foundation hosts a series of marquee events on both the West and East Coast. With an emphasis on FUN, every High Fives Foundation event is an exciting FUNdraiser for all that attend and support!
On Friday, February 7th, Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee will host the 10th Annual CR Johnson Memorial Lion Heart Art Show – an art fundraiser for the CR Johnson Healing Center made possible by Riverside Studios, Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co & 805 Beer.
Local artists will showcase mixed media on 12″x12″ panels of wood or 4”x2″ “skis” to create masterpieces in any medium. If you would like to participate please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each piece will be available for purchase at $100.00 per panel or $200 per ski on a first-come-first-serve basis. Following the art show, unsold artwork will remain on the wall of Riverside Studios and available for sale for the rest of February.
Proceeds from the artwork sold will benefit the CR Johnson Healing Center – a program service of the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation that provides resources for athletes in recovery from outdoor-sports related injuries. Resources include: physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, personal training and more.
“The Lion Heart Art Show is one of our favorite events of the year,” said Kahlil Johnson, Co-Owner of Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee. “It’s such a great and fun way to gather the Truckee-Tahoe Community to celebrate amazing art, while raising money for a cause that is near and dear to all of us – the CR Johnson Healing Center.”
