From Friday, April 2nd – Friday, May 7th, Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee will host the Reign Supreme Art Show, formally known as the CR Johnson Memorial Lion Heart Art Show – an art fundraiser for the CR Johnson Healing Center made possible by Riverside Studios & Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co.

High Fives Foundation and Riverside Studios would like to encourage you to create masterpieces in any medium. Artwork will be accepted by March 31st. This gives you 1 month to produce art! The purchasing of the art will be available ONLINE ONLY and run from April 2nd to May 7th. Works of art will be displayed at reignsupreme.highfivesfoundation.org and some select pieces at Riverside Studios. Along with the artist’s talent, your bio will be showcased to High Fives’ national audience and in a Press Release to local Reno/Tahoe news. 

Who will take home the 2021 Viewer’s Choice Award and “Reign Supreme”? We hope you accept our invitation.

Artists will be provided with a maximum of three 12”x12” plywood panels. Any medium can be used to transform them into amazing works of art. Each composition must be delivered by Wednesday, March 31st. Please make sure your masterpieces have the proper hardware for wall hanging. Panels can be picked up and dropped off at Riverside Art Studios in downtown Truckee at 10076 Donner Pass Rd, Truckee, CA 96161, or at the CR Johnson Healing Center at 10775 Pioneer Trail, Suite 108, Truckee, CA 96161. First-come-first-serve, so be sure to get yours this week.

12”x12” wood panels will have a starting bid of $100 each. Artists can choose to donate 50% or 100% of their proceeds directly to the CR Johnson Healing Center – a program service of the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation that provides resources for athletes in recovery from life-changing injuries. Resources include: physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, personal training and more. Check out highfivesfoundation.org to find out more.
