Event Spotlight: 2nd Annual Lion Heart Art Show (Friday 4-8pm)
On Friday, February 1st Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee will host the 2nd Annual Lion Heart Art Show a fundraiser for the High Fives Foundation. The show will feature local artists using ten by ten inch panels of wood to create masterpieces in any medium. From 4:00pm to 8:00pm on the evening of February 1st, during the downtown Truckee event First Friday all of the art will be displayed on the walls of Riverside Studios and available for purchase for $100.00 per panel.
A portion of each panel sold will benefit the CR Johnson Healing Center a program service of the High Fives Foundation that provides resources for athletes in recovery from sport related injuries. Resources include: physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, personal training and more. Along with the art being displayed, the Lion Heart Art Show will feature beats from local DJ One Truest along with drinks and refreshments.
This marks the second year for the Lion Heart Art Show, and we at Riverside Studios are excited to once again host this amazing night, said Kahlil Johnson, Co-Owner of Riverside Studios. There are so many great artists displaying their work this year, and we are proud to show off their art, while raising money for a great cause the High Fives Foundation.
