Event Spotlight: A Great Time at the TRAiNS Conductor’s Dinner
Thank you very much to the 75 amazing High Fives Foundation supporters and athletes that joined us at the 2013 TRAiNS Conductor’s Dinner on Sunday, April 21 at Twenty Two Bistro and Bar!
To kick off the evening, Shreddy Times debuted the new TRAiNS 2013 video with a thunderous applause from the crowd. This was followed up by a special announcement from Josh Dueck regarding Winter Empowerment Athlete – Landon McGauley’s award from the Sarah Burke Foundation. Rory Bushfield’s message to Landon was played over the sound system, announcing that the young skier was one of the first three scholarships granted in the amount of $7,500.
After that dinner was served along with wine tastings from Hatcher Winery and special drinks from Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Red Bull. To wrap up the fantastic evening, which was ultimately a way to say thanks to everyone that made TRAiNS 2013 a success, a silent auction and raffle went off with great bids on the items to support the Foundation.
