For me this is a bicycle journey across the United States in honor of my late son, and for adaptive athletes that have been impacted by life-altering injuries. It also forms the tapestry for a larger story of overcoming and triumphing in the midst of multiple life challenges, like anxiety disorder, family member addictions, and the sudden loss of my first born son at the age of 29.
