High Five to a Great Bike-A-Thon at Sky Tavern!

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, High Fives Foundation and Sky Tavern Bike Park teamed up to host the first-ever community Bike-A-Thon, a full day of trail riding, fundraising, and celebration in support of inclusive outdoor recreation.

Held at the iconic Sky Tavern Bike Park in Reno, Nevada, the event brought together 44 participants, including five adaptive athletes supported by the High Fives Foundation, for a spirited trail-lapping challenge and community gathering. From 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, riders of all ages and abilities hit the trails, logging as many laps as possible in the name of accessibility and adventure.

Prizes were awarded to top riders, with raffle drawings at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM creating moments of excitement for attendees and supporters alike. There were clinics where advanced and beginner riders could join.

The event also featured a lively vendor and food village, open from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, where local food trucks, brands, and businesses offered delicious bites and community connections. It was a joyful afternoon of music, mingling, and mission-driven fun.

The day wrapped up with an awards ceremony and grand prize raffle, celebrating the incredible efforts of participants and the powerful partnerships that made it all possible.

Proceeds from the Bike-A-Thon directly benefit High Fives Foundation’s adaptive sports programs and Sky Tavern’s trail development—fueling access, equity, and outdoor opportunity for all.

To every rider, donor, volunteer, and sponsor—thank you for making this event such a success.

High Five to an unforgettable day on the dirt!
