High Fives Athletes Explore New Trails at Sawtooth Trail in Truckee

On September 24th, seven High Fives Athletes had the opportunity to explore two newly added trails at the Sawtooth Trail system in Truckee, CA, thanks to the Truckee Trails Foundation. This single-track loop winds through high desert terrain and a beautiful Jeffrey Pine Forest, offering riders a dynamic experience on the trails.

Some standout features of the trail system include two breathtaking overlooks into the Truckee River Canyon, as well as seamless connectivity to other routes within the Mt. Watson trail network. In addition to our High Fives Athletes, City of Reno Adaptive joined us to take part in the fun, further enhancing the inclusive spirit of the day.

Special thanks to the Truckee Trails Foundation for making this adventure possible and supporting adaptive athletes as they continue to explore and achieve their goals.
