In September 2018, the High Fives Foundation took athletes with life-altering injuries to Santa Cruz for an adaptive surf trip. Also along for the ride was a team of coaches, watermen, family support and the High Fives and Rumpl Shammy Towel. The High Fives and Rumpl partnership originated from shared passions of the outdoor industry. The collaboration benefits the positive recoveries of injured outdoor sports athletes. These two brands working together is the perfect combination of creating positive change.

We started to venture into the world of adaptive surf because of the freedom that exists in the ocean and no barrier to entry through the joy of getting into the water. We have watched individuals gain a new perspective of freedom from being in the water to catch waves independently and in a safe manner with our dedicated watermen. Every year we host (4) camps in various locations across North America, we have hosted camps in Maui (HI), Oahu (HI), Punta Mita (Mexico), Ventura (CA), San Clemente (CA), Santa Cruz (CA), Tofino (British Columbia), Sea Girt (NJ) and Austin NLand Wave Park (TX).
