#HighFivesAthlete Grant Korgan has been a big part of the High Fives Foundation, he builds our community by showing support to all other athletes and more. Grant has an amazing attitude towards his goals and inspires everyone around him. The High Fives Foundation has provided Grant Physical Therapy with Ladd Williams (Truckee, CA), Acupuncture from Bird Lew (Truckee, CA), Acupuncture from Dr. Zhu (San Jose, CA), Acupuncture with Michael Kerrigan, Acupuncture and Kenesiology with Body Wellness Hawaii, Living Expenses for 9 Months, Matching Donations, Endless Support and SCI Information, Rehabilitation by Dr. RutherfordShepard Center Step-Program, Northern Nevada Hyperbaric Sessions, Physical Therapy at The C.O.R.E. Training Facility, Lessons at Disabled Sports USA – Far West and Adaptive Medical Equipment.

The co-owner of the professional snowmobile team “Alpine Assassins”, Grant was hurt in March of 2010 while filming for the movie, “Alpine AssassiNATION”. Grant suffered a L-1 burst fracture that left him paralyzed from the waist down. The Winter Empowerment Fund has aided in Grant’s recovery which enabled him to become the first adaptive athlete to reach the south pole. Learn more about Grant at korgmovement.com.
