Jamie fell attempting a double flat in her second run of World Tour Finals in Whistler Canada. She under rotated and landed in a pike position on the front of her skies, then launched on to the right side of her body and was knocked unconscious. Jamie was life-flighted to a Whistler clinic and eventually to Vancouver General Hospital where her family found that she suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Jamie has made amazing progress and her and her family are hopeful that she will make a full recovery. By no means is Jamie ready to stop her life as professional skier. She plans to find her way back to the industry sooner than later.
