The New England Sled Hockey League put on a sled hockey demo game Sunday, Oct 22nd, at the Central Vermont Memorial Civic Center in Montpelier with Visiting player & High Fives Founder Roy Tuscany!

Sunday’s game included some members of the Ice Vets of White River Junction, and notably, visiting player Roy Tuscany of Reno, Nevada. Tuscany grew up in the Mad River Valley and is a longtime friend of High Fives sponsor and sled hockey player Troy Kingsbury of Waitsfield. Tuscany has experience with adaptive surfing in California, but took to an ice sled for the first time Sunday and remarked that the sport provides an excellent torso and arm workout besides being fun.
