High Fives Foundation is HONORED AS TOP-RATED NONPROFIT
GreatNonprofits.org Award is based on Positive Online Reviews from across the nation
High Fives Foundation announced today that it has been honored with a prestigious Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations. “We are excited to be named a Top-Rated High Fives Foundation Nonprofit,” says Roy Tuscany. We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including our adaptive camps and the progress of our #HighFivesAtheltes.
The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that High Fives received – reviews written by athletes, volunteers, donors and clients. People posted their personal experience with the nonprofit.
For example, one person wrote, “With the help of The High Fives Foundation I’m on track to getting my life back, and getting back on my feet. The humans at High Fives are great, from the trainers, to the office staff, and the founders. I honestly, don’t know where I’d be if I wasn’t going to High Fives. The people at High Fives have constantly pushed me in all the right ways to help me recover. I am blessed to be part of such a great organization, and it’s very hard to put all of what they’ve done for me in a review. My name is Nolan Trowe, I am a High Fives athlete, and I believe High Fives is the best thing that could have ever happened to me post injury.”
While the Top-Rated Awards run through the end of October, High Fives was part of the inaugural group to qualify for the year. In addition, we’ll been added to GreatNonprofits #GivingTuesday Guide—an interactive guide to top nonprofits throughout the years. Look for this near the holidays.
“Savvy donors want to see the impact of their donations more than ever,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits, “People with direct experience with High Fives have voted that the organization is making a real difference.” Being on the Top-Rated list gives donors and volunteers more confidence that this is a credible organization.
The reviews by volunteers, clients and other donors show the on-the-ground results of this nonprofit. This award is a form of recognition by the community.
