High Five Ability First Sports for providing sports and recreation opportunities for youth with physical disabilities!
Ability First is a wheelchair sports camp designed to provide instructional & recreational sports opportunities to youth with physical disabilities. Sports range from the beginner through both the junior and national levels of athletic competition. Evening programs are designed to provide opportunities for leisure and social activities.
Since 1985 Ability First Youth Sports Camp has provided sports and recreation opportunities for youth with physical disabilities. Ability First was founded by Eric Snedeker and Bill Bowness, masters students in the Therapeutic Recreation department at California State University, Chico.
