NON PROFIT SPOTLIGHT | ADAPTIVE TRAINING FOUNDATION

Step into these Heroes story today!

High Five to the Adaptive Training Foundation (ATF) for teaming up with High Fives again for the 2017 ‘Military to the Mountains‘ Program Service.

High Fives partner, the Adaptive Training Foundation, was founded to provide individuals with physical impairments the proper facility and training necessary to achieve their health goals. The founder David Vobora and his team use modified training programs that utilize body weight exercises and sophisticated weight training equipment to achieve weight loss, increase mobility, or to increase strength.

The “Military to the Mountains” program, a partnership between Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, High Fives Foundation, Achieve Tahoe (formerly Disabled Sports USA Far West), the City of Reno and Adaptive Training Foundation are bringing 22 injured veterans of the United States armed forces at Squaw Valley for a week of snow skiing/snowboarding. Prior to skiing/snowboarding the veterans will complete a 9-week dry land training program.

WE CELEBRATE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
