Northstar California to Host GoPro Hunt!
Ready, set, go! Northstar California and GoPro have teamed up for the GoPro Hunt taking place on Saturday April 13, 2013. This is your chance to win a new GoPro camera!
Use tweets and clues to locate and win one of three hidden GoPro cameras! At 11:00am, the first clues will be tweeted out by @skinorthstar using the hashtag #goprohunt
Registration:Cruise by the GoPro tent between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., located at the Big Springs Lodge sundeck at mid-mountain, and receive an official “GoPro buff” for your chance to win a new GoPro camera. All participants will need to register and sign a Promotion Participation and Release Agreement before receiving a buff indicating you’re in and ready to play! Every ability level is welcome to participate in the scavenger hunt.
- Only the first 100 participants to arrive will be able to register.
- Registration is free. You do not have to be a Twitter user to participate; clues will be release via @skinorthstar Twitter and announced at the GoPro tent at the same time.
- Accessibility: A lift ticket or season pass is required to access the mountain. Every ability level is welcome to participate in the scavenger hunt!
- Ages: Must be 18 or older to participate unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Schedule of Events:
10:00 a.m. Registration, at the GoPro tent on the Big Springs Lodge sundeck at mid-mountain.
11:00 a.m. First clue is revealed. Clues will be announced via Northstar California’s Twitter feed (@skinorthstar), using the hashtag #goprohunt AND at the GoPro tent.
11:45 a.m. – Second clue is revealed. Clues will be announced via Northstar California’s Twitter feed (@skinorthstar), using the hashtag #goprohunt AND at the GoPro tent.
12:30 p.m. – Third clue is revealed. Clues will be announced via Northstar California’s Twitter feed (@skinorthstar), using the hashtag #goprohunt AND at the GoPro tent.
There will be three empty camera housings hidden on the mountain and the clues should help direct you to them. The scavenger hunt and clues will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The first person to find each empty camera housing will return it to the GoPro tent in return for a free new GoPro camera.
It’s simple, get a clue, find a camera housing, and go use your new GoPro camera to capture your action at Northstar!
