Paralympic Ski Race Camp | Squaw Valley

The High Fives Foundation will work with the US Paralympic Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding Team and Achieve Tahoe to host an adaptive ski race camp at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows starting on Monday, March 7.

The 3-day camp will be coached by world renown monoskiers Josh Dueck and Chris Devlin-Young, with assistant coaching and equipment provided by Achieve Tahoe. High Fives Foundation will cover all costs, making this once in a lifetime camp will be absolutely free for all participants.

Head Coach’s Josh Dueck and Chris Devlin-Young (CDY) will work with campers on the fundamentals of skiing, proper technique in the race course and ski tuning. Two shining stars from the camp will be invited to the 2016 Paralympic Nationals at Loon Mountain, NH in March.

***Campers must be able to ski independently.

WHEN: March 7-9

WHO: High Fives Foundation in partnership with Achieve Tahoe and Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows. High Fives will provide Head Coach Josh Dueck (see info below), with two Assistant Coaches provided by Achieve Tahoe.

WHAT: World class race camp, with gate training, tuning lessons and fundamentals coaching.

Two shining camp members will be invited to race in the 2015/16 US Paralympics at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire!
