NON PROFIT SPOTLIGHT| ADAPTIVE ACTION SPORTS

Live Beyond Limits

Adaptive Action Sports Foundation is the first adaptive snowboard and skateboard specific non-profit organization. Adaptive action sports creates skateboard, snowboard and other action sport camps, events and programs for youth, young adults and wounded veterans living with permanent physical disabilities, TBI and PTSD.

Amy Purdy, world-class Paralympic snowboarder, and Daniel Gale founded Adaptive Action Sports in 2005 to help create opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities to get involved in skateboarding and snowboarding and all action sports.

“I love the positive influence our organization has on others and the exciting way in which it does. I can’t wait to see the future of “adaptive” sports especially in the action sports arena. These athletes are truly role models and inspirations to us all.” — Amy Purdy
