Return to Dirt Day Trip | Hal Strauss Reignites Outdoor Adventure

Recommended by freestyle motocross legend Matt Buyton, Hal Strauss came to Return to Dirt with a deep connection to the moto world. Less than a year after his injury, he and his wife made the trip to Glenwood Springs—on just two days’ notice—to get back into the outdoor adventures he loves.

Through Return to Dirt, Hal had the opportunity to twist the throttle, see the sights, and reunite with a part of himself that can only be found in nature. The program’s mission is simple—make the backcountry accessible for those with mobility impairments and open the door to unforgettable experiences.
